These Terms of Use govern the use of Payr: the Payr.ac website enabling the creation and management of private Discord bots (the "Website" and the "Private Discord Bots"), together, the "Services." By using the Services, you agree to these ToU.
Definitions. In these ToU, the term "Bot" refers exclusively to a Discord bot; "Private Bot" refers to a private Discord bot created and managed via the Website.
1) Purpose & Operation
Components: Payr.ac Website to create Private Discord Bots.
The Bot is a technical interface that relays and transcribes calls to the CryptAPI API within Discord (addresses, webhooks, notifications). Payr does not provide exchange, conversion, custody, acquiring, or third-party crypto transfer services.
All payment flows go through CryptAPI. Payr never holds funds and does not provide custody, escrow, or conversion.
The Bot creates a technical request (address provided by CryptAPI), notifies, and verifies on-chain receipt/confirmation. Payments are executed directly via CryptAPI between the parties; Payr does not intervene in the transfer of funds.
1.1 Nature of the service (not an exchange / not a PSP)
Payr provides software that relays calls to the CryptAPI API within Discord.
Operational role. Payr acts solely as a technical execution layer that runs the User’s configured bot code on servers operated by Payr, strictly within the Discord permissions (OAuth/scopes) granted by the User. Payr does not own or control the Bot; the User remains solely responsible for the Bot’s configuration, usage, and compliance.
Payr is not: an exchange platform, a conversion service, a payment service provider, an e-money issuer, a custody service, nor a third-party crypto transfer service.
Payr does not receive, hold, or control any funds; any financial operation is executed by CryptAPI and/or by wallets controlled by users.
"Markup" and "Fee" = software fees related to using the Bot.
2) Roles & Components
- Payr: software tool and Discord interface.
- Payr.ac Website: web interface enabling the User to create and manage a Private Discord Bot. The Website does not hold funds.
- Private Discord Bots: attached (ownership) to the User's Discord account, and hosted/operated/configured by Payr on the User's behalf, based on the Discord permissions (OAuth/scopes) the User grants. The User may revoke access at any time from Discord.
- CryptAPI: crypto collection and fund-routing provider. CryptAPI's terms apply in addition.
2.1 Ownership and control of Private Discord Bots
Each Private Discord Bot, including its Discord application, token, settings, code/configuration, and any intellectual property therein, is owned and controlled by the User whose Discord account owns the relevant Discord application. Payr acquires no ownership or proprietary rights in any Bot.
To provide hosting/operation services, Payr may store and use the Discord token solely to run the Bot, subject to appropriate safeguards and encryption. The User can revoke the OAuth permissions and/or regenerate the token at any time from Discord, which may immediately disable the Bot’s operation.
2.2 Legal ownership and responsibility
Legal ownership. As a matter of law, each Private Discord Bot, together with all related accounts, configurations, messages, commands, content, and actions, remains exclusively under the User’s ownership and control. No ownership, title, or other proprietary rights are transferred to Payr at any time.
No agency, custody, or partnership. The Services do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, or custodial relationship between the User and Payr. Payr is not a money transmitter, custodian, or payment service provider for or on behalf of the User.
Sole responsibility. The User is solely responsible for the Bot’s operation, content, and compliance with applicable laws and Discord policies, including any obligations to end users. Payr has no responsibility for the Bot’s behavior or outputs and may suspend or terminate operation if the Bot or its use violates these Terms or applicable law.
3) Pricing and Commissions
3.1 Private Discord Bot (custom)
Percentages (markup, fee, or others) are set on a case-by-case basis by individual agreement and may be changed at any time. Unless otherwise stated in writing, changes take immediate effect for future transactions.
Creation and management of a Private Discord Bot are done via the Payr Website.
3.2 Network / third-party fees
Network fees (miners/validators), any exchange fees, and CryptAPI fees apply and are independent of Payr.
CryptAPI applies fees: between 0.25% and 1%, deducted from the total amount paid (base + Markup), as well as per-coin minimum fees; refer to the pricing page and CryptAPI Terms for details and updates.
Reference amount: in the standard configuration (address = Merchant's wallet), the amount forwarded by CryptAPI corresponds to the total paid by the Customer (base + Markup); CryptAPI fees therefore apply to this total.
3.3 Reminder, CryptAPI Terms (non-binding summary)
- Finality/irreversibility: crypto transactions are in principle final; no refunds/chargebacks via CryptAPI.
- No wallet: according to CryptAPI, amounts are immediately forwarded to the provided address (no fund custody).
- Fees: between 0.25% and 1% of the total amount paid (base + Markup) (or of the forwarded amount, depending on configuration) + per-coin minimum fees; see the pricing page.
4) Legal & Compliance
4.1 Geo-filter & sanctions
Service unavailable in countries/jurisdictions that are sanctioned or otherwise restricted (per CryptAPI policies and applicable local law). Payr may block or suspend access to the Services where legally required or to comply with sanctions/export control obligations.
4.2 Merchant compliance
The Merchant represents and warrants ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation: KYC/AML obligations, sector-specific prohibitions, export controls/sanctions, consumer protection, and tax collection/remittance.
4.3 Prohibited uses
- Illegal activities and use in or for sanctioned countries/persons.
- Unlicensed regulated activities (e.g., money transmission, unlicensed gambling).
- Ransomware, malware, mixing/tumbling, darknet markets, CSAM, terrorism financing.
- IP infringement, fraud, market manipulation, or evasion of platform policies.
You must comply with Discord policies, including the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
4.4 Availability / maintenance
The Services are provided “as is” and without any service-level agreement. Interruptions may occur, including due to Discord, CryptAPI, public blockchains, network congestion, or maintenance windows.
4.5 Refunds
Refunds are handled exclusively by the Merchant. Crypto transactions are in principle irreversible, and Payr cannot cancel or reverse transactions on-chain. See section 3.3.
4.6 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payr’s total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the aggregate amount of Markup and Fee actually retained by Payr for the Services in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to liability. In no event shall Payr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, revenue, or data.
4.7 Fee collection clarification
For clarity, the Markup and the Fee are collected at the time of payment via CryptAPI; Payr does not hold users’ funds.
